Purpose Built UAV Firefighting Technology
Circular’s UAV firefighting technology is designed and built with the purpose of controlling planned burns and managing early stage forest fires.
We are learning from the firefighting community and pursuing the technology’s value for other firefighting operations, such as extinguishing spot fires and mop-up operations.
In the early autumn we completed first proof of concept prototype tests and field trials. The design of the operational UAV and the full fleet is ongoing.

The proof of concept prototype field trials allowed us to test and learn how our UAV will fulfill its purpose, We also provided us with a keen understanding of the technology and innovations required to realize our mission.
The operational fleet
The operational forest firefighting UAV and fleet are now in full development. An aerodynamic design set to maximize propulsion and payload is taking shape. Autonomous Navigation will be realized by the best contemporary technologies. AI and cloud computing will be the backbone for processing geospatial and climate data for navigational and mission planning.
